24% of all grades achieved were A* - A grades which represents a 5% increase on last year and again breaks previous records. 5 students achieved a clean sweep of A* and A grades. 51% of all grades achieved were A* - B and 75% A* - C. Many of our students will now continue their studies at The Chichester High Schools Sixth Form on the courses of their choice.
Fiona Oliver-Watkins, Headteacher commented, “We are extremely pleased with these results. There are some excellent individual performances. We congratulate not only those who obtained the highest grades, but everyone who achieved GCSE success, especially if it was their personal best. They have all helped to make this a very good year. The results reflect the high standards of the school, the hard work of our teachers, and the support of parents”.

on their Success!
We are delighted to report that the Chichester High Schools Sixth form has had another successful year at A-level.
The A-level pass rate (grades A - E) was 97% with 43% of all grades being at the higher levels of A*-B.
Headteachers of CHSG and CHSB, Fiona Oliver-Watkins and Gavin Salvesen-Sawh said, “We would like to congratulate all of our 6th Form students on the level of their success. They are deserving of their good results and we are pleased that so many have gained the results that they need for university entrance. Our grateful thanks go to all the staff from both schools who have worked so well with the students and supported them throughout their sixth form studies. Many students achieved their personal best and achieved their target grades. This is especially pleasing in a year when applications for university places are in very high demand.
